Nicknamed Barracuda, the Master Mariner Deep Sea was created in 1968, at a time when Jaeger-LeCoultre was renewing its collections and giving the Master Mariner line a leading role. Commanding respect by the perfection of its style and its technical performance, the collection saw the launch of the Barracuda due to the growing popularity of scuba diving during the 1960s.

The Collectibles book is an incredible in-depth look of Jaeger-LeCoultre’s watchmaking history as it is the first time such detailed information on key 20th-century models has been brought together in a single volume. Written by the experts within La Grande Maison, it covers the period from 1925 to 1974, surveying 17 of the most significant models produced by the Manufacture.
